Social Networking
I actually have a Facebook page. I started it about the time I started 23 Things. It has been a great way to connect to old friends and to family that lives out of town. We started a Facebook page for our library and the students are really responding to it. We posted information about our banned books display and several "Facebook friends" came in to check it out. I think that connecting to our students in a format that they are familiar with is a good thing. My son has a Facebook page and a MySpace page. I prefer the Facebook page for a teenager. I have had to make him "edit" his MySpace page a few times.
